Day 1 : Leh/Shanti Sutpa

Arrival Leh by morning flight to be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. After welcome drink / tea / coffee on arrival, take complete rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (alt: 11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). After late lunch at the hotel, visit Shanti Stupa followed bya walk in Leh Bazaar for orientation.

Day 2 : Alchi/Leh/Spituk Monastery

The morning is at leisure to acclimatize to the high altitude and rarefied air of Leh. After leisurely breakfast leave for Alchi (70 kms) to visit the 11th century Alchi monastery, oldest surviving monastic complex of Ladakh and famous for its paintings and architecture. After sightseeing and lunch here, drive back towards Leh. En-route, view Sangam (confluence of the Indus & Zanskar rivers), check the Magnetic Point, visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Spituk Monastery, especially the Temple of Paldan Lhamo (female Dharmapala of the Buddhist pantheon), which is revered by Hindu devotees as “Kali-ka-Mandir.”

Day 3 : Pangog Lake/Tangtse

After early breakfast (6 AM) leave for Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip) via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). Pangong Lake (alt: 14,500 ft.) is 4-5 kms wide and over 135 kms long.   About two-third of the lake lies on the other side of the Indo-China Border. Stop at the lakeside for lunch and Sightseeing. In the late afternoon/evening, drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse village and Check into Standard Hotel/Guest House/Camp for

Day 4 : Tangtse/Hemis Monastery/Thiksey Monastery.

Leave Tangtse after breakfast and drive back towards Leh, crossing Chang-la Pass enroute. At Karu, turn on the road to Hemis across the Indus and visit Hemis Monastery, the biggest and most famous monastery of Ladakh. After the visit, return to the highway and drive back to Leh, enroute visiting Thiksey monastery.

Day 5 : Khardong-la

Excursion to Chording-La (85 kms round trip): After early breakfast, drive to Khardong-la (18,380 ft.), and highest motorable pass in the world, recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.  Enjoy panoramic views of the Indus valley and the Himalayan ranges as you drive back to the hotel for hot lunch. Post lunch free to explore the markets for shopping etc.

Day 6 :

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.

• 30 days prior to start date - 20% of the total cost of the package .
• 07 days prior to start date – 50% of the total cost of the package.
• 03 days prior to the start date – No refund .
